Engr.Dr.Osaro Odiase JP Commiserates With The Govt And People Of Edo State, Hail Gallant Youths For Bravery.

Engr.Dr.Osaro Odiase JP FNSE has commiserated with the Edo State Government and citizens of the State over the bloody Uromi Bank robbery that left scores dead.

Daredevil armed gang of robbers on Thursday raided no fewer than five commercial banks in Uromi, Esan North East Local Government Area of Edo State killing some policemen and innocent citizens as well.

Engr.Dr.Osaro Odiase regretted the rising disregard for human lives and called on the people to go back to their religious and moral ways of living stating that life is intrinsically valuable and sacrosanct.

While calling on the Government and the Nigeria Police Force to do everything within their means to make sure the perpetrators are brought to book.

He also urged the banks as well to make special arrangements in place to forestall such unfortunate incidence in future.

He also called on citizens to take the security of lives and property as their primary assignment and assist the law enforcement agencies in the discharge of their duties.

"There’s no doubting the fact that insecurity is one of the major challenges facing Nigeria today.

The entire country is engulfed in one form of crisis or the other and the safety of lives and property should not be left alone in the hands of the government and our security agencies, it is appalling that life is no longer intrinsic and valuable.

It is very sad that the craving for money has made our younger generation lose value for human lives,

The government must leave up to its responsibility of protecting and providing for its citizens.

My deepest condolences to the bereaved, may God grant you all the fortitude to bear this irreparable loss, may the soul of the departed rest in peace.

Engr.Dr.Osaro Odiase further praised the gallant youths of Uromi for the role they played in making all efforts to track down the bandits which resulted in the recovery of some vehicles and a huge amount of money stolen from the banks.

He also prayed for the injured and wished them a quick recovery.
